Katsy is an established French tutor in the town of Milton, Ontario. Her students come from all over the GTA including Guelph, Burlington, Mississauga, Oakville and Toronto. She also tutors many international clients over Skype.
She has been successfully tutoring all grades, Core French, French Immersion and IB program students, as well as adult students who are looking to broaden their professional perspectives. Her adult students have ranged from university professors, corporate executives, translators, IT consultants, small business owners, to office managers and artists.
Born in Francophone Morroco, Katsy is French educated and speaks French as a mother tongue. She has lived many years in Paris, France with her husband Abdul Waheed Khan, when she was holding the position as an Assistant Director General at UNESCO.
With an MBA from Strayer University, Arlington, VA, Kauotusar has had her own career as a sales and marketing executive. Her natural interpersonal and communication skills were recognized by her hierarchy and she was selected to be in charge of specific training programs by Sheraton and Meridien Hotels. However, if being a corporate executive was a great job for Katsy, tutoring proved to be her ultimate passion.
Katsy is also the proud mom of an eleven-year-old wonderful daughter who already speaks 3 languages.
Dr. Abdul Waheed Khan is an internationally recognized leader in education and development. He has served as Assistant Director General at UNESCO in Paris for nearly a decade. He was Vice Chancellor of Indira Ghandi National Open University, India. Most recently he was a fellow of Education Impact, A Paris based organization. Currently he is the Chief Patron of an educational trust in India.
Dr. Khan has also served in senior management and professional positions at the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Vancouver, BC for nearly seven years. He was responsible for developing educational communication and information programs of COL throughout the commonwealth. He was the chairman of Digital Opportunity Trust, an Ottawa based organization. He is a member of the Command of Presidents of the University of the People (POP) USAD.
Dr. Khan is the recipient of several awards and distinctions. He has received an honorary doctorate from the U.K. Open University in 2012 and was awarded fellowship of the Commonwealth of Learning. In 2008 Dr. Khan earned his doctorate and master degrees from the university of Wisconsin, Madison, USA.
